  • Story: First and foremost letit be know God is my everything and my reason for living, i dedicate everything i do to Him. And this is not the cliche' "i thank God for everything and God is awesome" thing. He really is my everything i am actually planning on attending ministry school in the next year or two.

i have always been a sports fanatic since i was 4 and i started playing teeball and mini-basketball, ive allways played the big 3 sports since i was little, baseball, basketball and football. i started boxing when i was 7 because my grandpa was one of the heads of the state golden gloves commission here in arkansas and i went to a lot of fights with him when i was young so i loved it and decided i wanted to do it. I trained with and became decent friends with former undisputed middleweight champ jermain taylor. i was first in the state in my weight division and overall golden gloves 3 years strait (ages 14 thru 17) and was offered scholarships to many schools for baseball and boxing. and a few for football. i took a half academic/half baseball scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas here in my hometown of Conway, Ar. i soon quit baseball though as me and the coach got into it frequently. i graduated last year with a degree in business and nutriion and a minor in exercise science.

With the immense boxing background i had always been a fan of the UFC and Pride (even before mma got big and mainstream, back in the days of the rickson and royce gracies and whatnot) but there was nowhere around my area that trained any kind of fighting aside from karate and tae kwon do and i was in no ay interested in that crap. finally a former 5 time worl muay thai champion moved to the area from thailand. i started training with him and thenalso BJJ facilities became rampent and i started training with them as well. i absolutely love it. being a full time student and also having a job though i was never able to train enough to be in any kind of big exposure type thing or even go pro in mma. i am however 19-2 amateur in mma, 9-1 amateur muay thai, i have over 300 amateur boxing matches under me and am 3-1 pro boxing all four fighs were when i was 18, (5 years ago). i would love the oppurtunity to train constantly and perhaps fight pro someday in mma, but i love my life how it is, i definitely dont mind doint it for fun. i have become a pretty decent BJJ guy of late winning the past two tourneys i have entered though i am EXTREMELY more comfortable on the feet, i dont think there is any amateur in the US that i cant stand with (not me being cocky, just being a realist). but anyways that is my story, im sure no one is taking the time to read all this but hey, i was bored so i wrote it all. God bless.
